Heats School of Welding Technology Inc. (TESDA Accredited)

The President of Heats School of Welding Technology is Mr. Pedro G. Jose Jr. (see picture below), a native of Kapanikian, LaPaz, Tarlac. He graduated BSME in 1995 at Tarlac State University. He has been in the field of Welding, QA/QC, Inspection and NDT for the past 14 years in the Philippines, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia and Brunei. He rose from the rank from a Technician up to QA/QC Head and worked from various Oil and Gas Contractor. He was involved in the Fabrication, Construction and Installation of Power and Generation (Hydro and Thermal), Offshore Structure (96 Feet Diameter X 586 Feet Long Dominion Spar Hull Project). The 6^th Spar and Deepest Spar in the World), Oil & Gas (Refinery and Pipeline), Chemical Industry (Tanks and Refinery Piping), Water Distribution Industry (Tanks and Pipeline), and Building Industry (Structural Steel). He was responsible in the preparation of QC Documents such as ITP, Quality Plan and Procedures, Supervision, Witnessing of NDT (UT, MT, PT, Vacuum Box Testing, Hardness Testing, PMI, PWHT), Welding Inspection, Inspection of Piping, Pipeline, Tanks, Structural and Material verification, including Pressure Testing.  He is knowledgeable and conversant in ANSI B31, ASME VIII Div. 1, ASME IX, API 1104, API 650, AISC, AWS D1.1, Aramco Standards, Qatar Petroleum Standards, Brunei Shell Standards, ABS Rules of NDT, and ISO 9001:2000. He already prepared various Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), QC and Construction Procedures, and Quality Manuals for ISO 9000. He attended various trainings in Welding Inspection, ISO 9000, Safety, and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Malaysia and Brunei. 

As a Sr. Welding Inspector and an Inspector, he already trained and tested thousands of welders in the Philippines and overseas.

Aside from his extensive overseas experience he have the following technical qualifications;

3.) Qualified Lead Quality Auditor – Neville Clarke

5.) Qualified Internal Quality Auditor – Neville Clarke

6.) ASNT level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing – Setsco Singapore

7.) ASNT Level 2 – Penetrant Testing – Setsco Singapore

8.) Experienced Trainer and Resource Speaker
