1st Batch Painting Inspector’s Course

Heats School of Welding Technology conducted the First Batch of Painting Inspector’s Course in the first week of July 2011.

The course tutor was a Certified Coating Inspector (NACE 2) with more than 15 years experience in the Industry. The course contents are as follows:

CORROSION

SURFACE PREPARATION METHODS AND STANDARDS

SURFACE CONTAMINANTS AND TESTS FOR DETECTION

PAINT CONSTITUENTS AND BASIC TECHNOLOGY

SOLUTIONS AND DISPERSIONS

DRYING AND CURING OF PAINT FILMS

PAINT SYSTEMS

TESTING

FILM THICKNESSES

PAINT APPLICATION

 COATING FAULTS

 HEALTH AND SAFETY

DUTIES OF AN INSPECTOR

The next course will be on August 8-12, 2011. Enrollment is now going-on.
