QW-423.1 specified the ranges of P-number qualification of a welder

Base Metal (s) for Welder Qualification

Qualified Production Base Metal (s)

P-No.1 through P-No.11, P-No. 34, or P-No.41 through P-No.47

P-No.1 through P-No.11, P-No. 34, or P-No.41 through P-No.47 and unassigned metals of similar chemical composition to these metals

P-No.21 through P-No. 25

P-No.21 through P-No. 25

P-No.51 through P-No.53 or P-No.61 through P-No. 62

P-No.51 through P-No.53 or P-No.61 through P-No. 62

Hi As you know some of Europian material in Asme standard has no P.No & Gr.No(unassigned) For example P355NL2 is unassigned in terms of standard. however there is the same metal in Asme standard P355Gh which has P.No1 and Gr.No 2 here there is a question: if we could determin P.No & Gr.No for the Unassigned meterial according to considering chemical, mechanical properties,metalurgical, usage conditions and desing specifications? (can be matched by Chemical & Mechanical properties (UTS)…)
