Listed below are some tips to prevent Hydrogen Cracking

1. Preheat the joint to slow the cooling rate
2. Maintain the preheat temperature for at least 2 to 3 hours and conduct PWHT immediately after completion of welding
3. Use low hydrogen electrodes. Bake the electrodes as per manufacturer’s recommendation before usage.
