SMAW NC II Trainee is doing his 6G Welder's Qualification Test (WQT)
and Training Center and it was conceived by Pedro G. Jose Jr., a Certified Sr. Welding Inspector (CSWIP-UK) and a Mechanical Engineer by profession. The name PWTC was changed into HMMJ Engineering and Training Services (H.E.A.T.S.). In the third quarter of 2008, H.E.A.T.S. was changed into Heats School of Welding Technology, Inc. In the midst of growing demand of welders in the Philippines and overseas, Mr. Jose decided to open up this institution to cater the needs of the construction industry both locally and overseas
ABOUT HSWTI
Heats School of Welding Technology, Inc. is a Vocational School with expertise in SMAW and GTAW. It is run and managed by Certified Sr. Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.2-UK) with more than 15 years experience in teaching and qualifying welders locally and overseas. He already qualified thousands and thousands of welders in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Brunei. He was the Head Jury for 5 consecutive years in Brunei National Competion. Our instructors have an accumulative 25 years of experience locally and overseas who are qualified in SMAW and GTAW in various metals, thicknesses and diameters. Our course modules and textbooks are American Technology.

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS
Ourr Welding Inspector’s Course Instructor is a graduate of BSME. He is a Certified Sr. Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.2-UK), Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1-UK), Certified ASNT Level II in MPI and PT, Qualified Lead Auditor and a Qualified Auditor (Neville Clarke). He was involved in the construction of various Power Plants, Industrial Plants, Chemical Plants and Refineries in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. He has been teaching welding inspector’s course and qualifying welders for the past 10 years. He is well verse in different industry standards such as ASME IX, ASME VIII Div. I, API 1104, API 650, AWS D1.1, ANSI B31.1, 31.3 & 31.8, AISC, ASME V and other related code and standards. He is proficient in the preparation of Quality Manual, Procedures and Instructions. He has been in this area of expertise for the past 13 years.
Our Senior Welding Instructor is a graduate of SMAW Course and a Certified SMAW, GTAW, FACAW and GMAW Welder. His qualification range from 1/2″ diameter pipe to unlimited with a thickness of up to 30.8mm maximum thickness and qualified to weld all P1-P11, P34 and P41-47 materials. He was involved in various construction of Power Plants, Industrial Plants, Chemical Plants and Industrial Plants. He welded pipelines, piping, structural, tanks and pressure vessel with 100% xray requirements in the Philippines, Middle East and Brunei Darussalam. His expertise in SMAW, GTAW, FCAW and GMAW will be very helpfull to our trainees in gaining practical and theoretical welding knowledge. He also attended various technical trainings such as Plasma Cutting, Safety in Welding, Welding Inspector’s Course among others.
Our Welding Instructor I is a graduate of BSIE and SMAW Course. He is also a Certified SMAW Welder. His qualification range is from 2 7/8″ to unlimited with a thickness of 30.8mm maximum. He is qualified to weld P1-P11, P34 and P41-P47 materials. He was involved in various construction of structural buildings. during his technical school days, he was the Provincial Champion in SMAW competition in Tarlac. He also attended various technical trainings such as Welding Safety, Welding Inspector’s Course among others. His experience and technical trainings will be helpful to our trainees in gaining practical ang theoretical knowledge in welding.
